After-School Classes

Science classes for kids ages 4-9, learning about science topics ranging from the human body to outer space.

The Fall Semester for Afterschool 2010 classes starts on September 28  !!! The fee for Fall After School  classes is $225. Please email sarahsassistant@yahoo.com to register.

The schedule for the Fall 2010 semester is:

Tuesday Level 3 (first grade)- 3:40-4:40
Tuesday Level 6 (fourth grade)- 4:45-5:45

Wednesday Level 1(pre-school)- 10:30-11:30

Wednesday Level 2 (kindergarten)- 3:40-4:40

Wednesday Level 5 (third grade)- 4:45-5:45

Thursday Level 1 (pre-school)-2:30-3:30
Thursday Level 4 (second grade)- 3:40-4:40
Thursday Level 7 (fifth grade)- 4:45-5:45

 

 

There will be no after school classes on Nov 2, 11 or Thanksgiving.

On May 17, We attempted to set a record for World's Largest Chemistry class! We erupted volcanoes and enjoyed  the World's Largest Edible Volcano!!! We still have to take a few more steps before we know for sure if we've made Guinness Book, but it looks hopeful.

The second annual 100 Question Challenge was a wonderful success and a fun filled day!

Thank you to all that participated, we could not do it without you.

Shoot for the Super Nova, microscopes, robots , chemistry kits and electricity kits!

Other cool prizes include lava lamps, loads of geodes, fluorescent light, shark teeth, books, test tubes and geiser tubes.

 

We are on our way to a new space and our scholarship fund is growing, but we still need your help, so get out there, get pledges and HAVE FUN!

General Information

Programs

Science Adventure Camp
Fun and educational interactive science day camp. Each week includes three field trips and two in-class days, with experiments and animal care. Science Adventure Camp operates during the summer and on many school holidays, please continue to check this website for upcoming days of camp!

 

 

 

Birthday Parties
Exciting science birthday parties, with lots of hands-on experiments and projects designed to fit your child's obsessions and interests.

Overnight Camping
Weekend trips for kids 8 and up. Learn about the science of nature, with astronomy, mineral and bug studying, camping safety, controlling fire and cooking a la caveman. Best thing ever!

Special Events
Specialized themed science spectaculars on a wide range of topics.
